It’s coming up;
my yoga teachers training starts within a week. I already went through all of
those stages of excitement, panic, and annoyance with it. If you are reading
this, because you are thinking about sinking deep in yoga and leaping the last
step into the training, I guarantee you that you feel all of those feelings as
well - sometime all of them together.
It is the fear
of unknown, it is the big step and commitment (and I’m not only talking about
the next half a year). You know you are entering a new chapter of your life,
but you have no idea where is it going to take you…
So, the time
came to order my textbook. I feel like back in school (which I was so happy to
finish). However, now I’m ordering books that are actually interesting. Again,
I’m not too sure what to expect. There is even a coloring book! You can order
all of those books via your teacher – if you are lazy. Or – advice from
“down-to-earth-moon –in-Capricorn-individual” - you can find them all on
Amazon. I managed to fit mine under $45! And you are all set for your yoga teacher
training…
Now I begin by
reading the assignments and preps for class. I can help myself, but based on
the description of those asanas, these people who wrote it have definitely much
more bones and muscles than me! I’m trying to find my sit bones, lift arches of
my feet, but keep heel on the ground, or wrap biceps towards my ears. And I
thought I know at least a bit about yoga. This is teacher training for you.
